FREE FOR MEMBERS: Armageddon Time
The end of an era. The beginning of everything.
Armageddon Time follows a young Jewish-American boy called Paul Graff as he navigates growing up in 1980s America. The film tackles themes of class and race throughout, and ultimately asks for Paul to work out what kind of adult he wants to be from an age younger than he should decide as his friendship with an African-American boy is put under a microscope by his family and his peers. James Gray has, without a doubt, wrangled some star talent with Anthony Hopkins and Anne Hathaway settled in the cast as members of Paul’s family – though this doesn’t overshadow Banks Repeta or Jaylin Webb, who act with a sincerity beyond their years. All this, and it’s Free For Members: so come along, and see what the buzz is about this film.
