3. Qualification ratifications

· Applications were received by the Publicity Officer and he read them out to Exec

5. Vacant Exec
· In Chief DM and Tech Officer
· We now have possible candidates – so run elections for Tech officer
· Wednesday, week 8, 5.30pm was proposed
· Votes open: tomorrow
· Close noms: Monday, week 8, 6pm
· Returning: Sophie
· Vote: For as above: unanimous
· Noone can run for Chief DM
· Rob to be asked to be co-opted: Yes: 7, Abstain: 2

6. E-mail responses
· Secretary deals with e-mails from students and societies
· Releveant departments reply to e-mails that relate specificallyto them
· President to deal with the rest of e-mails
· Always Cc Exec into any replies that you are making when the e-mail originally came through to Exec (i.e. when Exec, Info)
7. IT Team
· Doesn’t have any conditions to earn crew status, due to ppl already being involved in other areas
· Currently it’s at IT officer’s discretion, but it would be nice to have some rules
· It was suggested that there could be an IT committee which could decide on these things, as is done in other areas of the society
· However, the committee will still need to be decided by the IT officer
· Suggested that in this situation it’s best left up to the IT officer, because they are most aware of the person’s contributions
· Suggested that person who will have crew status revoked be given a warning
· Vote: for above two points: Yes – 9, Abstain: 1
8. Touch
· Touch screen is installed, but it hasn’t been done properly yet
· Should be ready in a week or two
· In same timeframe – new EPOS interface
9. Screen
· Going in front of refurb group
· IT team try to find out pricing
· Probably about a £1,000
· Union will insure it
10. Purchase
· Computer screen in proj box and screen in L3 have different resolutions
· Not an issue any more, as IT voted ‘No’
11. New Website
· There is a mock version of the website
· Hope to launch new website at Autum 2010 AllNighter
12. AllNighter
· Prizes are nearly all here
· Publicity run will happen this Saturday, details sent out via e-mail
· Stall is booked, sign-up is online

· Fergus and Mat meeting with KPMG tomorrow and will have more information
14. L3 refurb
· No news on refurb, as person is on holiday
15. Outdoor Screening
· Tech say yes – stuff can easily be stored somewhere
· Rootes field not available – Fergus to enquire as to what field are available
· Week 10 – preferred days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Monday (in that order of preference)
· Suggestions for films – Wall-E and Kung-Fu Panda, but the latter is a PG so we can’t show it – Owen to look into possible films
· Clothing order to be sent off by the end of week 2 of Summer term

· We can’t get Exam so we can move Shaun of the Dead to last film of term – need replacement – Zombieland – Vote: Yes – 8, Abstentions: 2

· 3 different types of memberships – Affiliate, Associate, Full

20. Social for Crew
· It was sugested to have a social where we get as much of the crew together as possible, so that different areas can interact together
