3. Notices
• Slack. There has been a fresh start, with no more ‘fun’ activity in ‘serious’ channels, and people who don’t want to be invited to ‘fun’ channels won’t be, but ‘fun’ channels can continue to exist. If you have given up on Slack or muted it, please consider giving it another go. Slack can be useful for some things, but emails will continue to be used. The CDM will be sure to ‘@channel’ if he wants to alert everyone in the #dm channel on Slack.
• Complimentary tickets have been given to some stewards who have not been able to start stewarding for several weeks due to the rotas being full.
• The steps leading up to the office in L3 have been fixed. The loose door handle to L3 has also been fixed. The L4-side fire exit is faulty again, with the door not locked and the green lights not on, but it still works fine as an exit.
4. Harry Potter Marathon
• DM: Caleb, Taylor, Casper, Chris, Matt, Iain — Justin early on
• Steward: Jamie (TDM?), Hannah, Caitlin (TS), Zuzanna (TS)
• Slots to be allocated. Taylor and Matt happy to do any. Caleb keen to do HP5.
• Evening meal discussed again.
• The CDM will look into a pre-marathon meal, and possibly a post-marathon meal too.
5. AOBs
i. Don’t forget to take part in Guess the Attendance for the week.
ii. It was requested that the snacks offered at DM meetings be varied, and that something other than biscuits be provided for once.
iii. The Treasurer reminded DMs that she prefers for receipts to be put in the middle rather than the side on the back of the Treasurer’s Tray Return.
