1. Welcome and apologies

The CDM welcomed all DMs and distributed millionaire’s shortbread and chocolate cupcakes.
2. Rotas

We also need stewards next week on Andhadhun and early Bridesmaids.
3. Notices
• Tell all stewards before sales begin that if they press the wrong button on EPOS after ‘Confirm’ they should ask the customer to wait and get you to fix the issue. Remind them that if you’re inside they should still wait for you to return. (This is due to a number of EAW till differences recently). You should either refund that ticket and sell it correctly, or (if it is too busy) make a note of the proper price – on your phone if needed – and correct the EAW takings when deactivating. If you are unsure on changing the takings, contact the CDM.
• We can stop asking proj if we have a film – they will tell us if there any issues.
4. Evening of Ghibli
Roles allocated as follows:
Matt and next CDM coordinating show. Jamie R overseeing tills with a TDM.
Rianna, Ant and Eliska will be on tills.
It was noted that we need to remove Jamie Lok as he won’t be there for ticket sales.
Jack, Ali, Zuzanna all there for ticket sales – Ali and Zuzanna may be leaving after 1 film.
We will meet at 17:40 for briefing. We will put up posters first before sales.
Jack asked about latecomer policy. Matt hasn’t figured this out.
Matt will contact with more information in a couple of days.
5. DM Qualification Certificates
Qualification certificates were given out for the DMs present. The rest will be given out in person.
6. Outgoing CDM’s Reflection and Thanks
Thanks were given to all the team for a fantastic year. We got through the difficulties of having no projector and are now in an excellent position for the rest of this year and the next. Thanks were given to everyone who has DMed, TDMed and Stewarded this year – the team have all been amazing.
We’ve qualified 8 DMs which must be a record. The CDM was very proud of this and again congratulated everyone who has qualified.
7. AOBs
i. Elections and AGM take place tomorrow in MS.02 at 5pm, the CDM wished good luck to everyone who is running.
ii. There will be a meal and (hopefully) drinks social tomorrow after the elections. Hopefully we won’t be going to Fusion.
iii. CDM may be running a DM Social next Wednesday to get to know each other and introduce the new TDMs. However this may not go ahead as a number of people will be away for reading week.
iv. There will probably be a Publicity Run tomorrow at 1pm. Please come along if you can.
v. Jack said that ‘Matt is the best out of all the CDMs (though he’s never met any others (except for Iain but he’s not here)) so ‘congratulations and thank you’
vi. Antoinette said ‘thank you Matt for a great year and great snacks’
vii. Antoinette wanted to remind everyone that she reached her 100th stewarding show this year and said she’s the best steward. Matt reminded the team that the CDM has the title and email alias Head Steward and hoped the next CDM would put Antoinette in her place.
viii. Antoinette wished everyone who’s running for exec good luck and hoped everyone could get a role though that’s not possible.
ix. Matt asked Jamie Lok if he had any AOBs and Jack asked why JL got an AOB when he isn’t a DM. Some members of the team wished to give JL a separate agenda point, but Matt thought it best to allow JL to give his AOBs here.
x. Jamie Lok was going to say that it was fun to steward under Matt and proj while Matt was DMing and also with everyone he has trained and that it was fun being on exec with Matt… then he remembered that Matt still hasn’t given him his crew guest ticket.
xi. Jamie Lok asked maybe for the final time for Matt’s crew guest ticket.
xii. Jordan thanked Matt for all his help with everything.
xiii. Eliska said same to Jordan’s comments.
xiv. After further prompting, Eliska said she was unable to express in words how great Matt is.
xv. Zuzanna said ‘just thank you Matt’.
xvi. Zuzanna asked if she is actually qualified as on the rotas she is still a trainee. Matt granted her NDM status and the team applauded her.
xvii. Ali thanked Matt for being a great DM, CDM and steward. And he thanked him for qualifying him.
xviii. Ali wished good luck to everyone running in the elections.
xix. Ali wished good luck to Jack in his running for CDM.
xx. Ali wished the best of luck to the incoming CDM, ‘whoever they may be’.
xxi. Niall said thank you Matt, thanks for all the DMing and for the training.
xxii. Niall thanked Matt, Antoinette and Jamie for single-handedly covering term 1. Matt thanked Niall for his kind words but wanted to recognise that Mike Joy had also DMed and that we couldn’t have done it without all the TDMs.
xxiii. Antoinette said there was a social at 4:30pm on Thursday with her and Elena going to a wellbeing workshop.
