Review:

This movie marks the sixth instalment in the popular Saw series about the Jigsaw Killer (Bell) and his successor Mark Hoffman (Mandylor).

The film begins with the traditionally violent and bloody test of two people who “do not know the value of life”. As usual, the rules are simple: the one who loses will die. The only way to win and survive is to cut off the most flesh weight in sixty seconds. Whilst the overweight man cuts off fat from his body, the slender woman has nothing to do but to chop her arm off. She tips the scale in her favour and wins 'The Game'. A new investigation starts and when the FBI is closer than ever to capturing the successor, Mark Hoffman starts the game which will be the final point in Jigsaw's immense plan.

Even more violent and earth-shattering than its predecessors, Saw VI creates an inimitable atmosphere of terror and despair, putting viewers into the insane world of the Jigsaw Killer. It is the first movie to receive an 'X' rating in Spain for violent content, and was almost banned there.

Given this movie's success, plans are already in motion to continue the series in a seventh part to this horror epic. Saw VI goes recommended to both fans of the franchise and anyone who is searching for an unusual movie which can undoubtedly be considered as one of the most brilliant horror films ever produced. Definitely worth watching!
