Review:

The Wolf of Wall Street is the latest in a long lines of collaborations between director Scorsese and actor Leonardo Di Caprio. Following fantastic pictures such as Gangs of New York and The Departed, this film has a lot to live up to, but definitely deserves it's place as a top quality piece of cinema from the pair!

Based upon the memoirs of millionaire stockbroker Jordan Belfort, the subject matter of this film is extremely interesting and relevant to today's world. Whether you love, or just love to hate, bankers, this glimpse into the high rolling lifestyle led by Belfort will shock and entertain.

Di Caprio is well cast as the suave Belfort; hosting parties, seducing women and making millions; but he really begins to shine when the rollercoaster plot takes its drop. His portrayal of a man going from having it all to losing it all is excellent, and as the drama unfolds, the rest of the cast complement his talents perfectly.

With a fantastic soundtrack, a real-life story to tell, an award-winning director, and the hottest property in Hollywood in the lead role, The Wolf of Wall Street is certainly worth a watch.
