Review:

Let's face it, we have been crying out for the legendary hero with a very particular set of skills to return to our screen. The arse-kicking, gun wielding Aslan of all action movies? Of course you're ready for Liam Neeson's new hit thriller Non-Stop.

From the mystic creative mind of Jaume Collet-Serra, director of The Orphan, House of Wax and the 2011 Neeson hit, Unknown, comes this action mystery set 30,000 feet above the ground. Team a fear of flying with claustrophobia and hijacking and we're delivered a fist clenching account of an Air Marshal's struggle to save the lives of the passengers of Flight 10 when there is nowhere to run. Neeson plays Bill Marks, an alcoholic US Federal Air Marshal coping with his the death of his daughter and his recent divorce. Whilst aboard Aqualantic Flight 10, flying from New York to London non-stop, Marks receives text messages on his secure phone declaring a person will die every 20 minutes unless $150 million is transferred into an off shore bank account. Joining him on the flight is passenger Jen Summers, played by Julianne Moore (Jurassic Park, Carrie and Don Jon) and Flight Attendants Nancy (Michelle Dockery, Downton Abbey ) and Gwen (Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, 12 Years A Slave). Grossing nearly $30 million dollars in its opening weekend, this film has been received as a brilliantly exciting addition to the sub genre of 'airline action' movies. A definite MUST SEE for any Neeson fan!
