Kon-Tiki
Real adventure has no limits.
Thor Heyerdahl is a Norwegian explorer with a theory that he is desperate to prove. In 1947, he decides to overcome his fear of water and his inability to swim and try and prove that the South Sea Islands were actually first colonised by South Americans. He departs on a 4,300 mile voyage with five others on a wooden raft constructed according to ancient design and their only link to the modern world is a radio. Navigating by the stars and the ocean, they set out to achieve the seemingly impossible.
Astoundingly dramatizing real events, Kon-Tiki is a masterful story of sheer determination bordering on madness.
