Unfinished Business
Best business trip ever
Unfinished Business is a 'road trip' comedy about Dan Trunkman (Vince Vaughn) who leaves his job and his boss Chuck (Sienna Miller), in order to go it alone. However, after a year he has only two employees, one too old - Timothy McWinters (Tom Wilkinson) and one too young - Mike Pancake (Dave Franco). The three men must fly to Berlin to meet Jim Spinch (James Marsden) and Bill Whilmsley (Nick Frost) in order to try and land a business deal, only to find themselves faced with a contender for the deal, Chuck. Trunkman must do everything he can to close the deal and must escape defeat at the hands of his former boss.
The film has many comedic moments and the chaos that arises from the business trip can't help but make you smile. The standout performance has to be Dave Franco, skilfully portraying the inexperienced youngster Mike Pancake. While Unfinished Business is clearly not for those looking for Oscar performances, the mixture of one-liners, visual comedy and heart-felt emotion in the film make it one worth seeing.
