Review:

The film starts with a look back to 1989 where Hank Pym, a scientist at SHIELD is working alongside Agent Carter and Howard Stark. Flash forward over 25 years and a rather aged Hank Pym finds himself shut out of his own company by his once-protégé, Darren Cross. Seeing signs that power may have gone to Cross' head, Pym decides to recruit a new hero in the form of ex-con Scott Lang to don his shrinking Ant-Man suit. With Cross close to perfecting his own 'Yellowjacket' suit, can Pym and his daughter train Scott Lang in time? The latest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ant-Man lives up the impeccably high standards of the world's biggest film franchise. Full of comedy, action and heart, this film makes great use of its quality cast of Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd and Michael Peña. For such a small superhero, Ant-Man is a truly epic film.
