The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Saving the world never goes out of style
Based on the television series, The Man from U.N.C.L.E is a parodic espionage film full of action and comedy. Set during the Cold War, American spy Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) is forced to work alongside Russian agent Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) to bring down Victoria Vinciguerra who has built an atomic bomb which, in this time of political tension and uncertainty, could mean the end of the world.
Naturally putting two of the world’s finest spies on the same project will go anyway but smoothly as a clash of egos ensues again emphasising the political conflict between the East and West during the sixties. To help add fire to the flames is daughter of a German scientist Gaby Teller (Alicia Vikander) who becomes the love interest for tough guy Kuryakin.
This film is definitely James Bond meets Johnny English for its mix of action and comedy and is definitely worth a watch for any Guy Ritchie fan.
