Paper Towns
Following the successes of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars’ cinematic adaptation, it wasn’t long before another one of bestselling novels hit the big screen. Paper Towns, a generational specific coming of age film, shows the complete transition of Cara Delevingne from model to actress as she immerses herself into her first Hollywood lead role of a mystifying American high-school student, Margo. Alongside her, Nat Wolff builds on his already strong acting credits playing Quentin who has loved Margo since they were children. The film centres on Margo’s disappearance and supplies the audience with great adventure surrounding the idea of getting lost and being found. Mixing very moving dialogue and deep emotion with moments of hilarity, Paper Towns is a must see for John Green fans and those wanting to embrace the values of escapism, friendship and love that are at the core of the film.
