Review:

In Daniel Craig’s fourth 007 film, and the second directed by Sam Mendes, Bond undergoes a search to find out about the secret organisation known a SPECTRE.

Meeting Mr White’s (Jesper Christensen) daughter, Dr. Madeline Swann (Léa Seydoux)- takes Bond closer to the source of SPECTRE and leads him to his main conflict with Blofeld (Christoph Waltz).

Andrew Scott also stars as C, playing another troublesome role as a character who threatens the future of MI6.

The title sequence, in combination with the opening scene being set in the Mexican celebration of ‘The Day of the Dead’ provokes ideas that Bond’s past will disturb him throughout the film and provokes an eerie link between Bond and Blofeld.

If you are a fan of action films and want to see what happens next for Bond, Spectre is a must see.

Emma Smith
