Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

Set years after Earth has been destroyed, there are only a few colonies of people left. Nausicaa is the young princess of the Valley of the Wind who, after escaping capture, learns that the ‘Toxic Forest’ is not in fact killing the planet. She also discovers various plants which can help to purify the atmosphere. However, the Valley comes under attack by the Tolmekians who plan to destroy the Sea of Decay and unleash the Great Warrior (the ones who were responsible for the first Holocaust). Up against time and with war impending, it’s up to Nausicaa to save the day and stop another Holocaust being unleashed.
