Review:

Carol tells the romantic love story between younger aspiring photographer Theresa Belivet and Carol Aird, an older woman going through a bitter divorce. Chance brings these two characters together and finding themselves fascinated with each other, friendship begins to ensue.

However, Carol’s husband soon grows suspicious of Theresa based on Carol’s previous behaviour. Theresa’s boyfriend also becomes jealous and suspicious of her relationship and intimacy with Carol and the two break up just as Carol and Theresa go on a trip together.

However, despite acknowledging their love for one another, Carol needs to fight for custody of her daughter in a world where their love was deemed ugly and immoral and this forces her to make an impossible choice.

Carol hooks you into its beautiful and romantic story from the moment it begins.
