The Revenant
Review:
Winner of three Academy Awards for Best Director (Alejandro González Iñárritu), Best Actor ( Leonardo Di Caprio) and Best Cinematography (Emmanuel Lubezki), The Revenant is the thrilling tale of man’s ultimate battle against the wild.
Set in 1823, the narrative follows the survival story of legendary frontiersman, Hugh Glass (Leonardo Di Caprio) after being abandoned in the unchartered wilderness of the Dakotas by his fellow huntsman John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). Chased by tribesmen and mauled by a bear, Glass battles the cold, hard terrain to exact his revenge on the ones who betrayed him and his son. Famous for it’s stunning visuals and stellar performances, this film is a must watch!
