Review:

We have all been waiting for the video game that took the world by storm to be made into a film. Now, that wait is over. Visionary director, Duncan Jones, invites us to enter a world quite beyond our imagination with the origin story of the initial encounters between the humans and the orcs. The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilisation faces a fearsome race of invaders: orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonise another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of all concerned. Fans of the game will relish the numerous homages to the variety of locations established in the video game series, as we are taken from one side of the world of Warcraft to the other.
