Louder Than Bombs

This drama released in 2015 closely follows the memories and feelings left behind by the the death of wife and mother Isabelle Reed (Isabelle Huppert) who is a war photographer. An upcoming photo exhibition celebrating his deceased mother brings the eldest son Jonah (Jesse Eisenberg) back home to commemorate the legacy of his mother while being forced to spend time with his estranged father who desperately tries to connect with his two sons. The fractionalized family has to confront the emotions they experience and learn to support each other through the traumatic experience. This heartwarming tale about ‘growing up’ is not one to miss.
