Review:

Revenge is a dangerous business He’s back!!! Jason Statham reprises his role as Bishop – a high price hitman who specialises in making his kills look like accidents. He thought he was out of the game for good. After all, who’s going to hire you when everyone thinks you’re dead? Everyone apart from one - his most formidable foe, Crain (Sam Hazeldine), who needs to hire him to infiltrate three impenetrable fortresses to undertake three assassinations. After Bishop refuses, Crain kidnaps the new woman in his life, Gina (Jessica Alba), and threatens to kill her unless The Stath complies. The Stath has no choice but to agree, but of course, his mind is already working out how to free Gina, and how best to take revenge… This is a wonderfully entertaining film, much like the first. Though with The Stath having to take out three heavily guarded international arms dealers, there couldn’t be any more fast-paced action crammed in! Most takes place on or by water, which gives the director a chance to innovate with a new range of hi-tech toys to overcome the logistical problems of aquatic murder, as well as to find unexpected ways to fight using harpoon guns. There’s even a cameo by Tommy Lee Jones! What more could you ask for?
