Review:

Doctor Stephen Strange is a talented but incredibly narcissistic neurosurgeon who has everything he wants in life. However, after being involved in a horrible car accident, this all changes. His hands and consequently his career are totally ruined by the accident. Having exhausted all of his considerable resources in experimental modern medicine to try and give him back his old life, Strange looks to other, even more radical means of curing himself. His quest takes him to Nepal where he meets the Ancient One, who agrees to teach him the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions in order for him to regain his former life and restart his medical career. However, having gone to Nepal in order to save himself, Strange quickly learns that the fate of the whole world is at stake and he must think of other people and not himself for a change. Dr Strange is an action-packed and very enjoyable film to watch. The visual effects are absolutely stunning – if you thought the folding cities in Inception were cool then think again; Dr Strange takes that to a whole new level. Overall, Dr Strange is a good superhero film which is not only really watchable but is also just good fun and pretty damn cool. An absolute marvel!
