Review:

He’s back!!! Keanu Reeves reprises his role as John Wick – a high price hitman who even gangsters call… The Bogeyman.

For those who don’t know, after ‘retiring’ from the assassination business to be a married man and have a ‘real life’, thieves break into his house, steal his car and kill his puppy – the last gift left him by his deceased wife - John Wick (Keanu Reeves) leaves retirement for one last blood-soaked vendetta.

Unfortunately, this act has unexpected consequences. Since he’s left retirement, one of the most powerful crime lords in the world, Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) wants him to repay the debt he owes him - with one last assassination. To refuse will mean all the most deadly assassins in the world gunning for the colossal bounty on his head. And eventually, one of them might get lucky…

John Wick 2 has an even faster pace than the first and more of the slickly choreographed scenes you’ve come to expect. This sequel is uncompromising, relentless in its action, without ever being gratuitously gory (and insanely good at making gunplay as slick as martial arts). Fans of the first John Wick film will be delighted to learn how smooth, effortless and lethal carnage can be delivered with just a pencil!

Buckle up, brace yourself and enjoy the ride!

(And absolutely no puppies were harmed in the making of this film…)
