Directed by Steven Soderbergh (and perhaps written by him too, as the writer Rebecca Blunt is almost certainly a pseudonym), Logan Lucky is best described as a hillbilly Ocean’s 11.
The story revolves around Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) and his one-armed brother Clyde (Adam Driver), who set up a heist together to rob the famous Charlotte Motor Speedway with the help of the Bang Brothers (headed by Daniel Craig’s Joe Bang).
Supported by a great cast, including Seth McFarlane, Katie Holmes, Hilary Swank and Sebastian Stan, Logan Lucky is the fun, comical heist movie we’ve come to expect from Soderbergh since the Ocean’s Trilogy, with a twist that will keep you guessing till the end.
