Annabelle: Creation
You don't know the real story
When former toy maker Sam Mullins and his wife allow a nun with six orphaned girls to stay at their farmhouse home, just a few years after their own daughter, Annabelle, died in a horrible car accident, it’s a pretty clear recipe for horror and disaster.
Telling the origin story of the haunted Annabelle doll of the first movie, Annabelle: Creation is a significant improvement on the first instalment and relies more heavily on atmospheric scares (although there are plenty of jump scares in there too!) Director David Sandberg is heavily inspired by James Wan’s horror movies and, for those who saw Wan’s The Conjuring 2, is able to create a tense and scary sequel with some very effective frights!
Perfect for horror fans (and friends of horror fans who get dragged along to hold their hand!), Anabelle: Creation will make the walk home much scarier for sure!
