Kingsman: The Golden Circle

As mad as the first one and just as much fun, Kingsman 2 is a worthy sequel to the brilliant spy blockbuster Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Picking up from where the first film ended, the sequel doubles the ante as the Kingsman agency is all but destroyed, taking Eggsy (Taron Edgerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) to America to find answers. Instead of answers however, they find the Statesman (the US equivalent to the Kingsman), plus an old friend from their Kingsman days. Together they have to stop the queen of the drug trade, Poppy (Julianne Moore) from mass murder via her latest drug. It’s an insane story but, then again, it’s Kingsman, it’s a given that the heroes will be badass, the villains will be insane and it’ll definitely be a good time.

Kingsman 2 fills the big shoes of its predecessor in terms of spectacle and wit (as well as a just lovely wardrobe, of course) and cements Kingsman as the most fun and zany spy franchise ever.
