Review:

Due to all the chaos he caused in New York, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) has lost his right to travel. However, he is offered the chance to get it back if he helps the American Ministry of Magic find Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller – Justice League). A young but very powerful wizard who has only just discovered his magical powers, but fled hurt and angry after aurors tried to kill him. As if this weren’t dangerous enough, the dark wizard Gillert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp – Pirates of the Caribbean), has escaped from imprisonment, and is also chasing Credence - as he would make a powerful ally in his struggle for power!

Eddie Redmayne is as captivating as ever, and Johnny Depp clearly relishes his role. As with the prequel, the special effects for the creatures and the magic are dazzling, and the action compelling.

Simply spellbinding!
