Review:

A treat for those old and new to the Halloween franchise, this latest sequel ignores all the previous ones, and simply follows on forty years later from John Carpenter’s masterpiece - the original and iconic Halloween film.

Having narrowly escaped a deranged killer’s brutal massacre on Halloween night, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis – Halloween) always knew that somehow, someday he’d escape captivity and come for her… And when he did, she’d be ready! Having spent forty years preparing, she’s ready to fight tooth-and-nail to kill the monster that hunted her so relentlessly all those years ago…

Produced by Blumhouse, the horror giants that brought you Get Out, Happy Death Day, The Purge, Paranormal Activity, (amongst others) this is a satisfying and slick update for those that love the original, and a highly entertaining horror for everyone else.
