Pain And Glory
Review:
From the only famous spanish film director you know comes Pain and Glory, the story of a film director in the middle of a creative crisis. He reflects on the choices he’s made and is surrounded by flashbacks of his past, while the struggles of his present self impact him more than ever.
A film with a colourful cinematography but dark storylines, it really shows Almodóvar at his best. If you’re going to start anywhere with his work (and you should!), start here.
