Review:

Taking place during the U.S. Civil War, Little Women follows the story of the four March sisters as they try to find their place in the world. Director Greta Gerwig’s take on this literary classic features amazing costumes and set designs, a beautiful score and interesting characters, topped off with a truly star-studded cast. Meg (Emma Watson), Jo (Saoirse Ronan), Amy (Florence Pugh) and Beth’s (Eliza Scanlen) distinct personalities make for an interesting dynamic that showcases the diversity of experiences women faced in nineteenth century society.

Filled with emotion, from cosy Christmas scenes, sisterly disagreements, romantic confessions, and devastating revelations, Little Women is an absolute delight.
