Born with a rare blood disorder disease, Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) is desperate to find a cure for himself, and all others that share his condition. Dangerously ill, he tests an experimental cure on himself, combining his DNA with vampire bats. It not only works, but gives makes him stronger, faster and the ability to fly! However, it turns out that these gifts come at a terrible price – he transforms into an inhuman creature with an aversion to sunlight and a never-ending thirst for blood…
Jared Leto is haunting as Morbius and will keep you engaged as he struggles to keep his grip on his humanity. Supported by Matt Smith, playing a much darker role than in Doctor Who, and Michael Keaton, is on fire as always, this is worth sinking your teeth into.
