Review:
1990s Hollywood had to know they were on to something with the rom-com pairing of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan – so successful and charming that, 5 years later, they were reunited in You’ve Got Mail. A cynical widower, declared ‘available’ on a radio phone-in by his son, wins the heart of a hopeless romantic – he’s in Seattle, she’s in Baltimore: surely it will never work out?
