Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Since he and his friends were given the powers of ancient gods, Billy Batson’s been having a blast! A young boy that can transform into an adult superhero, Shazam whenever he needs to fight crime. He’s enjoying being the hero, and being fawned over by starstruck teenagers who wouldn’t give him the time of day in school. Though he’s starting to wonder if he deserves these powers, and keeps finding himself falling short of other heroes such as the Flash, or Aquaman… When the daughters of Atlas, Kalypso (Lucy Lui – Kill Bill) and Hespera (Helen Mirren – Fast and Furious, Red) arrive on Earth, they want the powers that he stole from their father back, and to take over the world! And they don’t care how many innocent people get killed… Billy will have to overcome his feelings of inadequacy, and push his powers to the limits to save the day!

For fans that enjoyed the first, this is well worth a watch. A slightly darker tone in places, but still a light-hearted, entertaining blockbuster, full of action and laughs.
