Review:

From the innuendo in the title, you have probably already guessed that this is a sex comedy film which has plenty to leave you laughing. The talented Gene Stupnitsky is the director and lead writer, doing what he does best with plenty of hilarious cringe humour which he has certainly perfected through his time as a writer and director for the American remake of The Office, alongside co-creating the hit new series Jury Duty. Stupnitsky’s skill shines, as the film will have you laughing from start to finish with plenty of awkwardly hilarious scenes reminiscent of his earlier work – for any fans of the Office this is certainly a must-watch. This hilarious script is matched by the great performances from Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman, who sell every single scene and are perfectly cast in this film. So, with a great script and performances perfectly suited for it, you have the ideal blend for a hilarious experience. The film is based around Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence), an uber driver and bartender who is on the brink of financial ruin. Her car is repossessed and she struggles to pay off the property taxes on her inherited home she is desperate to cling on to. To avoid bankruptcy, she accepts an odd Craigslist ad posted by the parents of Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), which details that they are looking for someone to ‘date’ their son to prepare him before he heads off to university later that year. As Percy has no experience with girls, partying, or drinking, it will prove to be a challenging task to get him ready for the wild times of university. With all the set up you need for a whole host of laughs; this is certainly a hysterical film you just cannot miss
