Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
A legend will face his destiny.
After supposedly hanging up the whip following his last adventure, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny sees Indy dust off his trusty fedora one last time. This time, he’s accompanied by his goddaughter, Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), in search of the famed ‘Dial of Destiny’, a relic from Indy’s past that is thought to bestow the bearer with the power to travel in time. As with other artefacts from the series, the Dial also catches the eye of Nazi scientist, Voller (Mads Mikkelsen). The two parties engage in a classic race across the globe to find the artifact and to see if there's any truth to the mythology surrounding the Dial’s power…
Dial of Destiny is a fond farewell to one of Ford’s most iconic characters. It’s a fun adventure with plenty of action and mystery. It’s certainly better than the previous installment and also sees the return of some familiar faces. I’ve been a fan of Indy since my dad introduced me to the originals as a kid, and I feel this is a fitting end to the franchise
