Suspiria (1977)
Do you know anything about witches?
It’s a cliche to say that some movies are unlike anything else, but the original Suspiria, despite its colossal influence on everybody from James Wan to Ministry, from the Silent Hill series to Drive, remains truly unlike anything else - a surreal, terrifying assault of colour and noise, abrasive reds, blues and greens overtured with waves of crashing synthesisers and guitar lacing its dreamlike tale of witches and murder at a German dance academy. I’ve seen it on my laptop, I’ve seen it in a cinema, it’s great either way but this is a movie that demands the best sound system you can get your hands on - a sound system we can happily provide.
