Review:

Finally finding balance between being part of the land and the sea, and being the King of Atlantis, superhero, husband and father, Jason Momoa returns as Aquaman, and is enjoying showing his son all the beauty worth fighting for. However, this is to be short-lived… Yahya Abdul-Mateen II returns as Manta from the first film; still burning with anger at the death of his father. He still plans revenge against Aquaman - he will take his crown, his family, and everything else he holds dear! Manta has got his hands on an ancient and powerful weapon, the Black Triton, and with this, he’s now powerful enough to take over the ocean! Forming an uneasy alliance with his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson – The Conjuring), they are told by his mother, Atlanna (Nicole Kidman – Paddington) that the key to stopping Manta is the royal bloodline of Atlantis itself! But what does that mean? And what will Aquaman be willing to sacrifice for his kingdom? This is another action-packed Aquaman film, with absolutely stunning backgrounds under the sea, and more laughs than the first. Highly entertaining, and supported by a strong cast.
