Argylle
Once you know the secret don't let the cat out of the bag.

From the action-comedy king Matthew Vaughn (the man behind the Kick-Ass and Kingsman franchises), Universal is releasing 2024’s Argylle for the big screen, before its eventual streaming debut. Whilst in production, the background of the film was scrutinised, since it was reported that it was being based on an upcoming book. However, it was later revealed that the book’s apparent author is none other than the film’s protagonist, a struggling writer (Dallas Howard) who gets embroiled in a world of espionage. Goofy spy Aiden Wilde (Sam Rockwell) turns up and kick-starts a thrilling adventure for author Elly Conway. The titular handsome hero, Argylle, is played by Henry Cavill. Dua Lipa appears as well, in a Bond-girl-equivalent role, in her sophomore film appearance, following her brief stint as Mermaid Barbie last year. There are plenty of other stars that shine in Argylle, including Ariana DeBose (Wish, West Side Story), John Cena, Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Samuel L. Jackson.
This movie is the perfect blend of action and comedy – even from the trailer, you can see its goofiness, with a cat as one of the main characters, the awkward author’s foray into the world of spies and the light-hearted quips from characters played by the likes of Catherine O’Hara (Home Alone, Schitt’s Creek) and Sam Rockwell
