The Iron Claw

The Iron Claw tells the true story of the renowned wrestling brothers – the Von Erichs. Under the demanding and seemingly harsh coaching of their father, the brothers must fight their way to the top of the glamorous world of 1980s wrestling. Not only that, but they must navigate romance, family tensions and devastating revelations. It’s also got a pretty beefy cast, including the likes of Zac Efron, who trades his Wildcats uniform for some wrestling shorts and Jeremy Allen White, who’s swapped the hot and sweaty kitchen for the hot and sweaty wrestling ring. Early reviews praise its emotional core and there’s even talk of Academy potential. (Well, if like me, you take Ayo Edebiri’s Letterboxd reviews as gospel.)
