Review:

Continuing our celebrations into Term 2, we’ve put a 50th Anniversary Twist on our classic AllNighter format. Join us as we take you through 50 years of film history with 5 great films, all the way from 1973 to the present day!

We’re kicking things off with Monty Python and the Holy Grail (for reasons which will remain secret until the introduction to the AllNighter) . For our 80s pick, what could be more fitting and emblematic of the era than Back to the Future. Next up, we’ve got the animated classic, Toy Story. for some sweet sweet childhood nostalgia. As you move into the early hours of Sunday morning, we’ve selected Mamma Mia! to wake you right back up. Nothing says ‘welcome to FilmSoc’ like Pierce Brosnan's rendition of S.O.S blasting from the speakers at 2am (you’re so welcome). Finally, as the sun rises, we’re taking full advantage of that early morning delirium to bring you the mind-bending modern marvel that is Everything Everywhere All At Once.

So, we hope you enjoy our selection and appreciate how all films are funnier and better at 5am when you've only had a 1 hour nap.
