Megalopolis

…And here it is, the long-awaited opus (seriously, this has been coming for, like, 40 years) from Francis Ford Coppola, director of some of the greatest films ever made and also Jack, starring Robin Williams. Megalopolis, a sci-fi epic conspiracy thriller based on Roman history and packed with enough stars to form a constellation, has been making waves since its announcement, more so since its premiere. Come, and see the movie that critics have been calling ‘the craziest thing I’ve ever seen’, ‘a messy, self-indulgent sprawl’, ‘a garish, idea-bloated monstrosity’ and a ‘kooky, nepotistically cloistered, and unconscionably expensive magnum opus’! There’s only so much I can say to even begin to prepare you for this thing - love it or hate it (you will not be neutral), you are gonna remember this one. For a long, long, long time.
