The most outstanding highlight of Sword Fish was the story. The writers were able to keep my interest from start to finish. This is a movie that will take you on a thrill ride from start to finish. Focussing on John Travolta, as an international terrorist the story tells of the world's most dangerous spy being hired by the CIA to coerce a computer hacker, recently released from prison, to help steal billions in unused government funds.
The cast is fantastic, alongside a very convincing John Travolta and Halle Berry (who has to win last year's award for gratuitous nudity for this film), stars Hugh Jackman as Stanley Jobson, Don Cheadle as a government agent named Roberts, Vinnie Jones as Shear's henchmen, Sam Shepard as a crooked senator and Shear's employer, Camryn Grimes as Stanley's daughter, Holly. All of which are very talented actors who are well suited to their roles, ensuring that the strong story line of Sword Fish is not diluted one bit.
With action sequences frozen in mid-air while cameras pan around (a la Matrix), sequences that have a bus levitated during a car chase and incredible explosions; "Swordfish" will knock viewers off their feet. This film has something for everyone, a great story line, fantastic actors and special effects that will blow you away.
