Her and Lost in Translation Double Bill

A shoegaze classic, Lost in Translation is a minimalistic romcom directed by Sofia Coppola. The romance follows a fading American movie star, Bob Harris (Bill Murray) and Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson), a recent college graduate neglected by her husband. The peculiar solace found in each other's company was realised by Coppola’s own trip to Japan; this atypical convention of a romance was adored by audiences for its mixture of disconnect and lack of romantic convention, which makes it still refreshing today. As part of a double bill with Her you will get to experience a conceptual story between two lovers’ relationship of love, grief and beauty.
