How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies

The title of this film tells you almost all you need to know: after his grandmother is diagnosed with a terminal illness, M, a university dropout, volunteers to take care of her in the hopes of inheriting money after she passes away. Like last term’s Thelma, How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies is a beautiful, heartrending film about family, aging, and generational divides, as M’s bond with his grandmother develops over the course of her treatment. It’s definitely one of the year’s most heartfelt and emotional films, and one not to be missed — but maybe don’t forget to bring some tissues.
