Take one wannabe trendy father, five lads of around high school age, band camp, Stifler's mum, add a good dose of shermination and more than a hint of déja-vu. Leave for approximately one and a half hours in front of a depraved audience and celebrate the return of a barely matured American Pie.
Time has moved on. The boys are now college students and have just finished their first year. As they return home Jim (the one with the Dad) gets a call from Nadia who is going to come over and see him at the end of the summer. Jim is worried - he believes he may have trouble containing his excitement - but his dad is on hand as ever with some useful advice.
It soon becomes obvious that, having split up to go to university, life back home is never going to be the same again. The lads decide to get away from it all by hiring a house for the summer, culminating in a huge party at the end. To fund the holiday they take jobs in site maintenance and are soon observing the female occupants of the house they are working on and broadcasting their findings to the wider community via CB radio.
Jim meanwhile is busy looking up his old flame for advice on how to handle Nadia. After being regaled with a few anecdotes from ‘this one time at band camp’ and taking the lead as a trombone soloist, he's told that he sucks - big time. Working on his technique lands him up in hospital with another visit from his painfully sympathetic father thrown in for good measure.
Things though aren't quite as expected: Nadia loses her appeal - Jim chooses geekdom, the ‘Sherminator’ finally gets his girl. Next thing Stifler's mum will be making a comeback!
So how is the second coming? As pies go its a little cheesier than the first but no less saucy - a tasty little snack for anyone with a vile, juvenile sense of humour - make sure you get some!
