Fasten your seatbelts and hold on for dear life, as this film will take you on an exhilarating two-hour fast-paced thriller ride through the world of high-speed racing. When the sun goes down, another world comes to life and if in this world the loyalties between two men must be broken, if one has to cross the lines, then do it fast, do it furious.
Domenic Toretto (Vin Diesel) is the leader of a street gang under suspicion of the theft of expensive electronic equipment and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), a police officer sent undercover to infiltrate the gang after receiving evidence linked to Toretto. Eventually the two men will become friends and the cop will be falling for Dominic's younger sister, Mia (Jordana Brewster). However, a wrench is thrown into the mix when the writers create more than one possible suspect, which keeps the audience on alert throughout the movie.
The Fast and The Furious is loaded with high-energy and intense action sequences that will leave everyone breathless with anticipation of the next scene like high-speed car chases or drag racing through city streets. This film is following the spirit of films such as Days of Thunder or Gone In Sixty Seconds, and will probably drag all car-racing fans to the dark room to watch this awesome film on a large screen. The Fast and The Furious is a high-energy, tension filled action thriller that utilizes great performances from the cast, intelligent writing to give the audiences one of the best action movies of 2001.
