Featuring Miami cops Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Smith. Finding themselves in trouble, as drugs worth millions are stolen from police headquarters, they run into more problems when an agitated witness suddenly calls in to talk to Mike. Since only Marcus is around he has to take the call and impersonate his partner - and they must try to keep up this charade whilst trying to stay alive long enough to save their careers.
OK, that’s the plot outline. The film? Call this a cliche, but: if you loved Lethal Weapon, you will ADORE this. BIG explosions, wise-cracking trash-talking partners and utterly side-splitting, you know the formula.This is no low-budget Willis/Schwrzenegger rip-off - it’s a fast and funny action film.
