Minutes of the DM meeting held on 29 April 2009

Present: James McLachlan, Matthew Gardner, Robert Gardner, George Marshall, Matthew Pusey, Pierre Schramm, Natalie Tyldesley
1. Welcome and apologies for absence
Apologies were received from Rachel Crofts, Mike Joy and Owen Rye.
2. Rotas
Pierre said he might DM the early showing of Twilight. Matt Pusey said he might DM the late show.
3. EPOS system
Societies Federation checking should now be working - "So Tim claims," according to Matt P.
4. Fire exit
James reported that the fire exit by L4 had been upgraded to a magnetic lock. The green panel to the right of the exit must be broken to release the doors in an emergency. The DM should still unbolt the doors before the film but it is no longer possible to check that they open.
5. AOB
- George revealed that troublesome stewards had been watching snooker on the tills and crashing the EPOS system.
6. Date of next meeting
James decided that DM meetings would move back to Tuesdays. The next meeting will be held on 5 May 2009 in The Bar.
Matt Pusey suggested that meetings be held on Sundays at 8 am. Pierre was happy with this but George did not know whether he wanted to stay up that late. Despite suggesting the time, Matt revealed that he was not in favour of it.
The meeting was adjourned at 6.32 pm.
