Minutes of the DM meeting held on 24 November 2009

Present: James McLachlan, Matthew Gardner, George Marshall, Owen Rye
In attendance: Edward McCutcheon (trainee DM)
1. Welcome and apologies
James welcomed those present to the eighth meeting of term.
Apologies were received from Gaby Aptula, Fergus Cooper, Rachel Crofts, Robert Gardner, Mike Joy, Pierre Schramm and Natalie Tyldesley.
2. Rotas
The Exorcist and the late showing of Broken Embraces remained free.
3. Midnight show
It was decided that curry before the show would be ordered at 9 pm.
4. IT session
James and Ed reported that the IT Team had discussed running an "IT disasters" training session for DMs. This might include an overview of less well-known features of the Union EPOS system and solutions to network, website and hardware problems.
James said he would decide the content of the session with the IT Team before presenting it to DMs.
5. AOB
- Mat reported that, after work by Estates, the inner door to L3 no longer stays open and the doorstop does not fit under it. The doorstop fits under the other door on that side of the theatre, however.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:26 pm.
