IT Meeting Minutes 4th November 2009

1) Welcome and Apologies
Present: Ben, Tim, Bernard, Chris, Ed, Adam, Matt, Andrew (arrived 20:19)
Apologies: Rachel, Fergus, Omar, Martin
2)Setting up Bazaar on Windows
•Tim showed most of the method on how to do this and will put it up on wiki
3)Touch Screen Tills
•Not keen as sold on ebay, are there any other sites?
•Andy will look into other websites but the ebay seller has good feedback
•Will approach the Exec on buying a trial version
4)Server Monitoring
•Andy has emailed IT services but they haven’t replied, not sure whether IT Services will do it, it is a favour from them…
5)Sliding Rails
•Quote for 26” is £35.77 however 23” are probably more likely to fit this need to be measured and further research needs to be conducted
•Measurement is 22” ‘and a bit’
6)New Website
•Deadline – to have a system up and running before the next exec are in term
•Progress is to be made to have some sort of working system before the Christmas vacation
•Editing the responsibilities of the current programming as outlined in the minutes from 29th October 2009 this is to spread the load edited programming responsibilities are shown:
