Minutes of the DM meeting held on Tuesday 11th May 2010
6:10pm, The Bar, Rootes Social Building
Present: Robert Gardner, Fergus Cooper, George Marshall, Edward McCutcheon, James McLachlan & Owen Rye.
In attendance: Andrew Maddison (projectionist)
1. Welcome and apologies for absence
Rob welcomed those present to the third meeting of term.
Apologies were received from Rachel Crofts, Matthew Gardner, Mike Joy and Natalie Tyldesley
2. Rotas
Slots were filled throughout weeks 3 and 4 for qualified DMs.
Trainee DM slots remain for many shows - please sign-up!
3. Qualifications
It was agreed by the committee that Rob would liaise with Veronika as to her availability within week 4 for a possible qualification.
(Further to meeting - This is now scheduled for the 6.30pm screening of 'The Lovely Bones' on Friday of Week 4)
4. AOB
i) Tonight's screening of 'The Road' has been cancelled due to distribution problems beyond our control. Nikita (WSC Treasurer) is putting up some posters on desks and doors near L3. Fergus will turn away any audience members who have not seen the cancellation email.
ii) Curry will be ordered at 9pm on Saturday, prior to the midnight screening of 'The Wolfman'.
iii) Litre bottles of Yazoo are currently available in Costcutters at the offer price of 99p.
iv) Fergus announce that we have retained our sponsorship detail with KPMG for the 2010/11 academic year.
