All attendees introduced themselves so that new members where aware of who is whom.

Bad Lieutanant: Port of Call New Orleans

Tim K ran the entire show perfectly whils the Qproj cleaned splicing blocks
Four Lions

Shutdown at the start to allow for large audience. Memento trailer oor due to making up error.

Started 8minutes late as the Qualified wanted to the Trainee to do the entire start up throughly.
R2 slightly oof but corrected swiftly.

Sound pop at the begining of Ads due to a making up error.
Focus issues with P1 – The anamorphic lens may need refocussing.
It is also noted the the Memento trailer is in SR only so you must force the CP500 into SR so that it compensates the volume. Otherwise the trailer is very quite.

P1 oof, P2 then also oof and then P1 again oof.
Speakers noted to be placed on the stage the wrong way round but wired correctly. If this occurs please enusre you put them away in the correct order so that other projectionists do not have problems.
Snaps Tests
Tim K’s snaps test went well. Will do his qualification show on Inception Early.
Omar’s snaps test to be conducted on Sunday 14/11/10. Meet at 11:00 to prepare with Omar arriving at 12:00
Owen, Alex, Matt Breeze and Fergus will all be attending.
Any Other Business
1. 70mm
Trainees can help make up the 70mm film and are invited to the conversion process. However only Qproj during the show please as 70mmQproj will be training the Qproj.
2. NFT
They have responded to complint and are working to improve our service. They will visit the film dump Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays to make collections and deliveries.
Be aware that things may still be sent to the Arts Centre, this is an addressing issue, not the driver’s fault.
3. Trainee
Must complete two shows to have crew status granted

4. Trainees Show Count
It was asked if Qproj could have online access to see how many shows a Tproj had worked. This was removed by a previous exec due to abuse. The issue will be taken forward to the exec.
